Requirements
Minimum of six months directly related work experience for the position being nominated.
Education and work experience that satisfies all requirements of the job as per the criteria specified in the National Occupational Classification. Minimum high school completion.
For skill levels 0 and A, candidates require the following minimum language skills in listening, speaking, reading and writing depending on the test used:
Meet the minimum requirements for the Federal Skilled Trades Program. .
Be accepted into IRCC’s Express Entry pool and have an Express Entry profile number and job seeker validation code.
Have the required settlement funds to support themselves and their families in Canada (even if their families are not coming with them).
Have a valid, permanent, full-time job offer from an employer in Yukon.
Possess a certificate of qualification in the required skilled trade issued by a Canadian provincial or territorial authority. To get a certificate in Yukon, the Apprenticeship and Tradesperson Qualifications authority will assess the candidate’s training, trade experience and skills to decide if they are eligible to sit an exam.
